With the home real estate market improving, the father-son owners of Newberry Homes, a company that builds custom homes, are getting into the development game.
Chad Newberry, a partner with his dad in Newberry Homes in DeLand, looks over building plans for a proposed five-lot, Key West-style home development in Ponce Inlet.
The small business, which operates out of the family’s DeLand home, is working to create an upscale subdivision in Ponce Inlet while at the same time developing a line of starter homes for the West Volusia communities.
